5 Lovely little coffee shop serving a good selection of baked goods. Strong proper flat white. We enjoyed the bomboloni (little Italian style chocolate stuffed doughnuts) and the chocolate banana cake. Both served warm with melted chocolate. A treat! Great aircon too if you're looking to escape the heat.

5 Cafe Carpenter is one of my favorite coffee spots in Labuan Bajo. The place has such a chill vibe, cozy, quiet, and super comfortable for hanging out or getting some work done. The coffee here is really good. I especially love their double milk coffee it’s strong, creamy, and just perfectly balanced. You can tell they know what they’re doing behind the machine. The staff are also super friendly and easy to talk to. They always greet you with a smile, which makes the place feel really welcoming. It’s the kind of café where you can just sit for hours and feel at home. If you’re around Labuan Bajo, definitely stop by Cafe Carpenter. Great coffee, nice people.
5 Amazing coffee - especially V60 with Flores local arabica beans. Went this place twice. Both times got a welcoming service, high quality coffee and enjoying feelings. Must visit place. Probably,the atmosphere is not super chill: people around, including staff, didn't use earphones, so you can hear the voices and music from their phones. Kinda annoying while enjoying coffee. I know it's a whole Asia problem with phones, but making the sound-off rule would be highly valuable. Also bought their beans - exact same quality of coffee can make at home!
5 I love a good coffee. In a cool and chill place. The super friendly crew at Carpenter’s know how to prepare one. My morning ritual: one hot cappuccino, and a choice of the delicious ‘side dishes’ - oat cookies, carrot cake. All for great prices as well. Go to Labuan Bajo? Check out Carpenter’s!!

The banana bread is also a must-try: soft, fragrant, and always freshly made. As a repeater customer, I always end up ordering the same menu because it never disappoints. Simple, reliable, and delicious — definitely one of the recommended spots in Labuan Bajo for great coffee and a comforting bite.
